Your privacy is important to us. It is Jira Reminders’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://www.jirareminders.com, our Slack app, and any other services we operate.

2. Information We Collect

A. Slack Workspace Data
We collect the following information from Slack to provide reminders and notifications:

  • Workspace ID and name
  • User IDs, display names, and email addresses
  • Timezone information (to schedule reminders)

B. Jira Data
To fetch issues for reminders, we access:

  • Project keys and names
  • Custom JQL queries you configure
  • Issue summaries, statuses, and metadata (processed only in memory)

Jira issue data is never stored in our database.

C. AI Feature Data (OpenAI API)
If you enable AI-based features (such as summaries of Jira updates), we may send limited text to the OpenAI API for processing. This may include:

  • Issue titles, summaries, and statuses

  • Message content you explicitly provide for AI features

We do NOT send:

  • Authentication tokens
  • Attachments or files
  • Passwords or sensitive credentials
  • Slack message history (other than direct interactions with the app)

Per OpenAI’s enterprise privacy rules:

  • OpenAI does not train on your data
  • Data is not retained longer than necessary to generate the response
